Done for my sister's birthday: Happy birthday sis!
It's a Moogle, obviously xD
I used Baby London Star's pattern and modified some parts of it accordingly.
Fleece with felt eyes. Stuffed with cotton. 15cm without the pompom.
The pompom wire was a bit compicated as I made a spirals on both ends and put it in between the stuffing so it would hold nicely. There are thin wires in wings as well, so they would hold shape. Joints are movable thanks to double thread stitching. The moogle can stand up, providing that you put the pompom right for the center of gravity xD
I am really, really pleased with how it turned out.
XD yeah, I use those. There's different needles, but I don't have the time or money to experiment with them. There's a curved needle to make sewing like an arm or leg to a plush easier (my hands hurt so bad from this, but I'm a vicious sewer anyways XD) and there's a darning needle for your yarn related needs and other kinds. I don't bother with 'em
Although I really want to know how people do embroidering, like for eyes and such. I just use felt and shape them myself or beady eyes for chibis and such.
